In this lesson we were exploring the idea of using the way we walk to develop character and feeling. By introducing variation of speed ,direction and weight we can discover how the way in which we move around can influence our mood and create different characteristics.
We were exploring 8 different ways in which we can walk and move,after each we will record ow it made us feel and what kind of persons may move/walk in this way. Also we had to answer for tis questions:
* What mood would you be in if you were walking in this way?
* What emotions might you be feeling at the time?
* What kind of person might walk in this way the majority of the time?
* Do you know anyone who walks like this?
* Is there a character from a play or film what walks like this?
1)DIRECT ,FAST AND LIGHT:
When I walked direct,fast and light I felt like I have to quickly go somewhere because I'm late already.The person who walk like this is my mum.
2)DIRECT,FAST AND HEAVY:
When I walked like this I felt angry at something.
I dont know any person who walk like this.
3)DIRECT,SLOW AND LIGHT:
When I walked like this I felt very lazy.
The person who walk like this is my cousin.
4)DIRECT,SLOW AND HEAVY:
When I walked like this I felt confident.
The classmate from my class.
5)INDIRECT ,FAST AND LIGHT:
When I walked like this I felt lost.
I dont know who walk like this.
6)INDIRECT ,FAST AND HEAVY:
When I walked like this I felt tired.
People after job walk like this.
7)INDIRECT,SLOW AND LIGHT/8)INDIRECT,SLOWLY AND HEAVY:
When I walked like this I felt tired and made me annoying.
It was good and interesting exercise in that day because we could feel the different feelings of people who walks in that ways.I really enjoyed this lesson.
